This notice explains how Failsafe (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information connected with this website and our meeting-booking process.
Information we collect
You may provide your name, email address and any other details you choose to share when you contact us or book a meeting. Our website may also generate limited technical information needed to deliver pages securely, such as an IP address, browser type, device information and request time.
Google Calendar bookings
Our “Let’s talk” page uses Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling. The booking calendar loads only when you choose to view available times. Information you submit through that booking interface is provided to Google and to Failsafe for arranging and managing the meeting. Google processes this information under its own privacy terms.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and arrange meetings.
- To provide, operate and protect our website and services.
- To understand prospective customer requirements.
- To meet legal, regulatory and security obligations.
Where UK data protection law applies, we rely on consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interests in operating and developing our business, or compliance with legal obligations, as appropriate.
Sharing and international processing
We may share personal information with service providers that help us run our website, communications and scheduling, including Google for appointment booking. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. Some providers may process information outside the UK; where required, appropriate transfer safeguards should apply.
Retention and security
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting and security requirements. We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Children
This website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, services or legal obligations change. The latest revision date will appear at the top of this page.
