You may provide your name, email address and any other details you choose to share when you contact us or book a meeting. Our website may also generate limited technical information needed to deliver pages securely, such as an IP address, browser type, device information and request time.

We also collect aggregate usage measurements through cookieless analytics, as described in “Cookies and website analytics” below.

This website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or cross-site tracking. It stores nothing on your device, so there is no cookie banner to accept or reject.

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by Vercel Inc., on every page. It is cookieless and privacy-focused: it does not set cookies, does not store anything in your browser, does not use device fingerprinting, does not identify you and does not follow you across other websites. It records aggregate measurements only — pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (country and region, derived transiently from your IP address, which Vercel does not store), and general device and browser type. We use this to understand how many people visit the site and which content is useful.

Booking calendar. The “Let’s talk” page can load Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling. It loads only if you click “View available times”, and it may then set its own cookies, which are governed by Google’s privacy terms. If you do not open the calendar, nothing from Google is loaded.

Legal basis. Because the analytics does not store or access information on your device, it falls outside the consent requirement of the UK’s Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Under UK GDPR we rely on our legitimate interests in understanding, in aggregate, how our website is used. You have the right to object to this processing at any time by contacting founder@deployfailsafe.com. For the booking calendar we rely on your consent, given when you choose to load it.

Our “Let’s talk” page uses Google Calendar Appointment Scheduling. The booking calendar loads only when you choose to view available times. Information you submit through that booking interface is provided to Google and to Failsafe for arranging and managing the meeting. Google processes this information under its own privacy terms.

These include Vercel Inc. for website hosting and cookieless analytics, and Google for appointment booking. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. Some of these providers are located in the United States and may process information outside the UK; where required, we rely on appropriate transfer safeguards such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or a provider’s certification under the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, accounting and security requirements. We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect it against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict the use of your personal information, object to certain processing, request data portability, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

This website and our services are intended for businesses and professionals, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
